Crafting Better Stories & Empowering Future
Mojar School :: মজার ইশকুল (an initiative of Odommo Bangladesh Foundation) is determined to ensure the student’s education by making the student’s family self-reliant so that no student’s education is stopped just because of the family’s financial problems! So to prevent child marriage, child labor or, student dropout, Odommo Bangladesh Better Stories(OBBS) project is working since 2013. Till now, 225 families have been included in the OBBS project from among the families of students studying in Mojar School :: মজার ইশকুল by providing them with the necessary support based on their skills. In order to reduce the tendency of students to be employed, sent to villages or stop studying due to poverty and child marriage. Mojar School wants to continue working tirelessly to ensure a bright future for the students through the Odommo Bangladesh Better Stories (OBBS) project with the cooperation of all well wishers.
The scenario of OBBS
At OBBS, our long term goals are centered around creating sustainable change and empowering communities to thrive independently. Here are some key objectives we aim to achieve over the coming years.
- To make families self-reliant to make sure students of Mojar school attend school regularly.
- To create a permanent source of income for a student’s father or mother or both.
- Preventing students from being employed or sent to villages or stopping their studies or child marriages due to family financial problems.
- Playing a helpful role in ensuring a bright future by inculcating the habit of saving.
What we are aiming to achieve
Our long term vision is to create a street children free country where every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential regardless of their circumstances. With continued support, we are confident that we can make this vision a reality.
