Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about OBBS
OBBS stands for Odommo Bangladesh Better Stories. a project designed to provide essential support items to underprivileged individuals and families in Bangladesh. Our mission is to empower beneficiaries through sustainable aid, fostering economic independence, and improving quality of life so that children of these families don’t get to face child labor, child marriage, or similar kinds of issues that children from underprivileged families generally face.
Our beneficiaries currently are individuals and families of the students of Mojar School:: মজার ইশকুল from low-income backgrounds who struggle to meet their basic needs. They are selected through a rigorous application and evaluation process to ensure they genuinely need our support.
Beneficiaries are selected based on a detailed assessment of their economic status, living conditions, skills, and specific needs. We use a survey form and questionnaire to gather this information, ensuring that our aid reaches those who need it the most. While collecting information about them their skills get the most priority for selection so that the support item of OBBS has a sustainable impact on them.
OBBS provides various types of support, including livestock (e.g., goats, sheep, cows), small business start-up items, rickshaws, vans, sewing machines, easy bikes, bikes, and other essential goods that can help beneficiaries become self-sufficient through earning.
