Brishti, Hajera, Bijoy & Yamin woke up early in the morning. All of them are excited even it had interrupted their last night’s sleep.They always hear about educational tours but this is the very first time they are going to do something like this. Sir John Wilson school invites them for a visit. No, it is not an educational tour but they are considering it as one. Even before admission in “Mojar School” established by Odommo Bangladesh Foundation, they never saw a school from inside just because they belong from financially vulnerable families. Now this is another chance to visit a school from inside and it is a matter of great joy for them.
Brishti, Hajera, Bijoy & Yamin are students of Mojar school of Maniknagar branch. Odommo Bangladesh foundation (OBF) opened Mojar school in 2013 with the vision of making Bangladesh free from street children.With the specific motto OBF introduced Sponsor A Children (SAC) initiative by opening the door for all to make a positive impact for our country through providing educational support.
Anyone can be a sponsor and help underprivileged children for their education. Even, to make it affordable for maximum people the amount is 1500 taka only for each child. Sir John Wilson school’s Principal Sabrina Shaheed appreciates the SAC initiatives and, She also motivates her school’s students to change the world through education.
Brishti, Hajera, Bijoy & Yamin visited John Wilson school to respond to the invitation. After entering the school every bit of the moment they seemed excited. They frequently ask about their buildings, stairs, school uniforms, playground and their questions list just goes on. Some of the students from “Sir John Wilson” school, greet “hi” with a welcoming gesture that makes “Mojar School” student’s comfortable.
Mojar school arranges visits with other schools and get together sessions, to motivate the students who were never inspired by anyone to dream flying without wings. While “Mojar School” students were coming back to their school all of them expressed that, from now on, they are more committed with their studies. One of them said I want to study and break all the limits.

আজ হাজেরা, বিজয় আর ইয়ামিন খুব ভোরে ঘুম থেকে উঠেছে। কেউই আজ রাত ঠিকঠাক ঘুমাতে পারেনি। ক্লাসে তারা শিক্ষা সফর সম্পর্কে শুনলেও, এই প্রথম তারা এরকম কিছু করতে যাচ্ছে। “স্যার জন উইলসন” নামের এক বিদ্যালয় তাদের আমন্ত্রণ জানিয়েছে।
না, এটা কোনো শিক্ষা সফর নয় কিন্তু তারা একেই শিক্ষা সফর হিসেবে বিবেচনা করে আনন্দিত। “মজার ইশকুলে” ভর্তির আগে, তারা কখনও ভিতর থেকে কোনও স্কুল দেখার সুযোগ পায়নি। তাদের পরিবারের আর্থিক অস্বচ্ছলতা তাদের থেকে অনেক কিছু কেড়ে নিলেও “মজার ইশকুল” তাদের জন্য মজার মজার সব সারপ্রাইজ বরাবরই আয়োজন করে থাকে, আজকেও কি এমন কিছু হতে যাচ্ছে?
হাজেরা, বিজয় আর ইয়ামিন আমন্ত্রণে সাড়া দিতে জন উইলসন স্কুলে পৌছে। স্কুলে ঢোকার পর মুহুর্তের প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত ছিলো উত্তেজনার আর আশ্চর্যের! এই স্কুলের বিল্ডিং, সিঁড়ি, ইউনিফর্ম, খেলার মাঠ সবকিছুই যেনো আলাদা। সুযোগ বুঝে কানে কানে তাদের ম্যামকে অনবরত প্রশ্ন করে চলেছে তারা। “স্যার জন উইলসন” স্কুলের কিছু শিক্ষার্থী, “হাই” দিয়ে তাদের স্বাগত জানালো যা দেখে “মজার ইশকুলের” শিক্ষার্থীরাও কিছুটা আবাক আর কিছুটা উত্তেজনার সাথে হাত নেড়ে উঠলো।
ফিরতি পথে তাদের চোখ জুড়ে ছিলো স্বপ্ন। বড় হবার স্বপ্ন, আবার এমন উচু দালানে উঠার স্বপ্ন, আর সুন্দর সুন্দর পোশাক পরে ঘুরতে যাবার স্বপ্ন।
