1. Starting the Journey – A Vision for Change

In December 2021, Mojar School and KFC Bangladesh embarked on a mission to bring education, nutrition, and care to street children through the project “Mojar School KFC Shopner Pathshala.” The collaboration aimed to transform KFC branches into welcoming learning spaces for underprivileged children. This initiative started as a one-year pilot project but, due to its success, has continued for over 2 years and 3 months.

The primary goal was simple yet powerful: to break the cycle of neglect and provide a structured learning environment where children could dream beyond their current circumstances. Today, Mojar School KFC Shopner Pathshala stands as a beacon of hope, impacting thousands of children and setting an example of corporate-social responsibility in action.

2. The Impact – Transforming Lives

Since its inception, Mojar School KFC Shopner Pathshala has touched the lives of over 65,000 street children, providing them with:

✅ Education – Basic literacy and life skills training.
✅ Nutritious Meals – Ensuring children receive at least one healthy meal per session.
✅ Hygiene & Sanitation Facilities – Bathing spaces, clean washrooms, and hygiene products.
✅ A Safe and Welcoming Space – A warm, decorated environment to encourage learning.
✅ Love & Care – Emotional and psychological support for children facing hardship.

With 45,000 children impacted in the first 2 years and 3 months, the initiative continues to grow, giving children not just knowledge but also a sense of belonging and self-worth.

3. Class Schedule and Activities

The program runs across 8 locations – 7 in Dhaka and 1 in Cox’s Bazar. Classes take place three days a week at each location, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Each session follows a structured routine:

Daily Class Activities:

📌 Welcoming & Refreshment: The day starts with a warm welcome and nutritious breakfast.
📌 Hygiene & Grooming: Children freshen up using the provided hygiene facilities.
📌 Education Sessions: Engaging classes covering basic literacy, mathematics, and life skills.
📌 Creative & Interactive Learning: Storytelling, drawing, music, and group activities.
📌 Motivational Talks & Counseling: Helping children build confidence and aspirations.

Regardless of rain, cold, or extreme heat, Mojar School KFC Shopner Pathshala operates consistently, ensuring that no child is left behind.

4. Leadership & Team Effort – Making It Possible

The initiative’s success has been a result of strong teamwork and leadership. Special thanks go to Amit Thapa Sir, whose dedication and belief in impact-driven work have played a crucial role in sustaining this initiative. The project is also a testament to the leadership within Mojar School and the commitment of its team members who manage remote operations, financials, and reporting efficiently.

The project is now expanding, with ambitious plans for nationwide implementation by 2025.
