At Mojar School, festivals are more than celebrationsâthey are opportunities to restore dignity, joy, and belonging to children who grow up without it. Each event brings nutrition, love, and new experiences to the streets of Bangladesh.
đ 1. Mojar School Cake Festival
A mass birthday party where every child gets cake, balloons, and the memory of being celebrated.
Impact: Introduces street children to birthday celebrations and the idea of being cherished. Children experience love, joy, and the sweetness of shared memories.
Location: All UTSMS points and permanent centers.
Tentative Month: January
History: Inspired by the idea that every child deserves to feel special, the Cake Festival started as a symbolic birthday celebration for street children who donât know their birthdate.
Highlight: Everyone shares cake, sings songs, and children get their âfirst birthday memory.â

A day of races, football, and prizes that builds teamwork, confidence, and smiles.
Impact: Encourages teamwork, physical fitness, confidence, and discipline. Many children experience sports gear and organized play for the first time.
