Obstacles Faced by Underrepresented Communities
Children from marginalized communities often face significant obstacles in completing their education, with many dropping out before finishing primary school. This lack of education limits their opportunities to find employment or pursue further studies, perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

We provide education to children free of cost, while also focusing on extracurricular activities like painting, music, and sports.
Livelihood
Our Livelihood program creates sustainable earning opportunities for marginalized women, promoting Bangladeshi culture and heritage through crafting training and commercial sales.
Youth Development
The Youth Development program offers comprehensive skill development training to young people and motivates them to utilize their skills towards earning opportunities.
Emergency Response Program
We also assist these communities through emergency aid, winter donations, Islamic charity initiatives (zakat), infrastructure development, and various other relief efforts.

Meet Nadia
Nadia, a 3-year-old girl in Nandipara, Dhaka, used to face challenges in accessing early education due to her mother's work as a maid and the lack of safedaycare facilities in the slum. The homeowners where Nadia's mother works disapprove of having her child around, making job opportunities scarce. "Chakar School", OBF's school-on-wheels program, became a glimmer of hope for Nadia, providing free pre-primary lessons for slum children. Nadia's mother, relieved, entrusts her to the school, paving the way for a brighter future as Nadia prepares to transition to formal education.
Chakar School's impact extends beyond Nadia, creating a legacy of transformation for marginalized children. In a world often unkind, the school stands as a beacon of safety and compassion, shaping lives and guiding them toward a better tomorrow.
Meet Sabrina
Sabrina, a determined young girl from a rural village, harbored the dream of serving her community. OBF became her beacon of hope. Through our educational support program, she embraced the Digital Learning Initiative as her PSC exam approached.
On the awaited day, her face beamed with joy as her instructor announced her results. Her achievement represented more than numbers; it symbolized Sabrina's achievement, resilience, and newfound confidence to overcome any challenges on her path.
