This Gold Medal is a recognition of our journey in transforming the lives of street and underprivileged children across Bangladesh. The award nationally acknowledges organizations that make significant contributions to society. Known for its commitment to integrity, democracy, and social responsibility, this recognition is both an honor and a source of inspiration for us to continue striving for a brighter future for all children.
We would like to express our gratitude to Smile Food Products Limited, a subsidiary of the Abul Khair Group—one of Bangladesh’s largest conglomerates, serving the nation with quality products since 1953—and to Prothom Alo, one of the most respected and widely read Bengali-language newspapers and digital platforms in the country, for this national recognition.

Who We Are and What We Do
মজার ইশকুল :: Mojar School is a youth-led nonprofit initiative of the Odommo Bangladesh Foundation, founded on 10 January 2013. Our mission has always been to provide education, nutrition, shelter, and hope to children living and working on the streets.
From our earliest days conducting “Under The Sky Mojar School (UTSMS)” classes at Kamalapur Railway Station, Sadarghat Launch Terminal, and Shahbagh, we have worked to bring learning to children wherever they are—be it in public spaces, shelters, or mobile bus schools.
Over the years, our impact has grown significantly:
1. Supporting 2,300 children with free formal and non-formal education
2. Mobilizing 8,000+ registered volunteers nationwide
3. Providing employment support to 236 families for children’s sustainability
4. Distributing 100,000+ meals annually to fight hunger and reduce dropout
5. Offering creative, recreational, and psychosocial support
6. Empowering families and communities to ensure long-term change
7. Employement opportunity for youth in decent work environment
