A Warm Winter, Sweetened With Cake: মজার ইশকুল :: Mojar School Cake Festival 2026 |Season 9

Spread the love

On January 22, 2026, the Kamlapur Railway Station was filled with love and joy. The street children of Kamlapur were treated with six varieties of cake (Chitoi Pitha, Nakshi Pitha, Vapa Pitha, Puli Pitha, Malpoa Pitha, and Patishapta Pitha). The evening was filled with joy and happiness.

Mojar School Cake Festival 2026 | Season 9 began as an event and ended with a heartfelt celebration.

Celebration in UTSMS Kamlapur Point

This year, the event took place at our “Under the Sky Mojar School Kamlapur Point.” The evening was filled with children’s smiles, the sweet aroma of cakes, and countless moments of joy. The railway station came alive with the fragrance of cake and the laughter of children enjoying fun activities.

Most of these children live in and around the railway station. They do not have a permanent place to call home and often beg for food from one person to another. For them, the taste of cake is nothing less than a dream. That evening, their eyes sparkled with happiness, innocence, and pure enjoyment.

Seventy Four Smiles Wrapped in Winter’s Sweetest Gift

We successfully served 74 street children throughout this event. Some of the children were too young; they didn’t even know the taste of cakes. All the children were seated in a queue, and the plates were filled with our six varieties of cakes. The children found the cake very tasty and thanked everyone who helped to arrange the program.

The children were playful throughout the event, with most of their conversation revolving around the cakes.

A Note of Gratitude

A heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, donors, and team members for turning a normal evening into a joyful day. Thank you for your generous support.

The Significance of This Day

This festival is to celebrate a winter vibe with the underprivileged children. Throughout the past cake festivals, we observed the enthusiasm of children throughout the festival. It makes the need for this festival clear that the underprivileged children also deserve a day of celebration and love.

This year’s event was further enriched by a significant and heartwarming gesture. Representatives from Muslim Charity joined the festival and collaborated with us in distributing cakes to the children. This spontaneous participation created a truly meaningful moment of unity and compassion, adding to the success of the day.

Motive of the Cake Festival

This initiative is primarily inspired by the cherished memories of childhood and by the deep-rooted cultural knot of Bengali people with cake (Traditional Pitha). For many of us, enjoying cakes on a winter day is a fond childhood memory. But such moments remain a dream for children who do not have a roof over their heads. To help turn this dream into a reality মজার ইশকুল :: Mojar School has been organizing the cake festival for the past nine years. The joy and excitement of street children throughout the event motivate us to carry out this program in the upcoming years.

Sweet Notes From Beneficiaries

One of our young beneficiaries shared with excitement that he had been waiting for a long time for a day when he could finally enjoy cake. Another child described the cakes as extremely delicious. These simple, heartfelt words reflect the true impact of the festival and remain moments of great pride and motivation for all of us.

Concluding the Cake Festival with Smiles

The Cake Festival concluded in an atmosphere filled with happiness and contentment. As the event came to an end, the children carried smiles on their faces and joyful memories in their hearts. The shared moments of laughter, gratitude, and togetherness reflected the true success of the initiative, reaffirming our commitment to creating meaningful and joyful experiences for children year after year.
