On June 21, 2025, the streets of Dhaka came alive with the sweet scent of mangoes, the bright colors of lychees, Burmese Grapes, Black plums, Guavas, and the uncontainable joy of children who rarely get to experience these simple seasonal pleasures.

Mojar School Fruit Festival 2025 | Season 9 was more than just an event—it was a celebration of dignity, childhood, and shared humanity.

Celebration Across Six UTSMS Points

This year, the festival took place simultaneously in six locations under Mojar School’s Under the Sky Mojar School (UTSMS) program:

From early morning fruit procurement at Karwan Bazar to joyful evening closings at each location, our dedicated officials and volunteers worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life.

Reaching 300 Children With Summer’s Sweetest Gifts

We successfully served 300 street children! For many of them, it was the first time this season that they had tasted mangoes, lychees, guavas, Burmese Grapes or black plums (জাম).

The excitement was contagious. Some children couldn’t resist and began eating their fruits right away. Their tiny hands struggled to carry their fruit baskets, but once they received bags to help them carry their gifts, their faces lit up with relief and happiness.

Every festival has its joys—and its longings. One of our regrets this year was not being able to serve even more children. But we see this as our call to action. The dream of a Street Children Free Bangladesh requires bigger goals, larger outreach, and stronger support.

Next year, we aim to scale even higher, reach even more children, and expand the celebration to touch every corner of Dhaka.
