On December 2, 2023, at the prestigious Bangladesh Sustainability Excellence Awards organized by The Daily Star in collaboration with CSR Window Bangladesh, Arian Arif, founder of Mojar School, was honored with the title of “Young Humanitarian of the Year 2023.” This recognition came alongside other impactful organizations and individuals who are contributing to building a more sustainable and socially responsible Bangladesh.

The award reflects more than a decade of consistent effort through Mojar School, an initiative under Odommo Bangladesh Foundation, which works towards ensuring a Bangladesh free from street children. From providing education and daily meals to creating long-term opportunities for underprivileged children, the organization has grown into a nationwide movement impacting thousands of lives across multiple branches and under-the-sky schools in the country’s most vulnerable areas.

Being recognized by a national platform like The Daily Star is not just an achievement, but a validation of a long journey built on patience, consistency, and deep commitment to humanity. It highlights the importance of youth-led initiatives and proves that sustainable change is possible when efforts are driven by purpose and grounded in real community needs.

This recognition is also a reminder of greater responsibility. The journey does not end with an award—it begins a new chapter of scaling impact, strengthening programs, and inspiring more young people to step forward. Because true success lies not in recognition, but in the number of lives transformed along the way.
