Eid-Al-Adha 2022: A Celebration of Compassion and Sharing at Mojar School

Eid-ul-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, holds deep spiritual significance in Islam — a time to reflect on values like compassion, sacrifice, and generosity. At Mojar School, we believe in turning these values into meaningful action by standing beside the underprivileged during such important occasions.
Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, Mojar School successfully organized a Qurbani program in 2022, distributing the meat of 4 cows along with freshly cooked meals to hundreds of people in need.
Qurbani Distribution at Two Locations
This year, we expanded our reach to serve different communities across Bangladesh:
Monpura Island
In this remote and underserved area, Mojar School sacrificed 2 cows, providing both fresh meat and cooked food to underprivileged families. Many in Monpura live with limited access to resources, and receiving this support during Eid brought not just food, but hope and inclusion.Dhaka
The remaining 2 cows were distributed among the underprivileged children and families in Dhaka, especially focusing on the students of Mojar School. These children, many of whom come from street or slum communities, enjoyed warm Eid meals, creating moments of joy and celebration in their lives.
What Was Provided
Freshly Sacrificed Meat was carefully packed and delivered to families who rarely get the chance to enjoy such meals.
Cooked Food was prepared with love and served hot, allowing recipients to experience the joy of a traditional Eid meal.
