1. Why do you need devices for both schools and offices?
We run 20 branches across 5 districts. Devices are needed for:
- Students to access online learning, videos, and apps
- Teachers to manage lessons and learning tools
- Offices to coordinate volunteer work, reporting, fundraising, and communication
2. What types of devices can I donate?
- Smartphones (Android preferred)
- Printers
- Laptops
- Desktops (if possible)
- Accessories (keyboard, mouse, charger)
(Devices must be in good working condition)
3. How will you decide where to use the donated device?
After receiving and inspecting the device, we allocate it based on:
- Urgent educational needs at schools
- Operational gaps in offices
Device specifications (e.g., powerful laptops for office work)
4. Can organizations donate bulk devices for schools or admin use?
Yes, absolutely. We welcome donations from companies, tech firms, or offices looking to repurpose older devices in good shape. We also provide official letters and acknowledgment certificates.
5. Do you provide acknowledgment for office-use donations?
Yes. Every donor — whether the device is used for student learning or office coordination — will receive a digital certificate of appreciation. We can also showcase your support on our website or social media with your consent.
6. Does the device need to be new?
No! Used devices in good working condition are welcome and can make a huge impact on a child’s education.
7. What types of devices can I donate?
We accept smartphones (Android preferred), laptops, chargers, keyboards, and accessories — as long as they are in working condition.
We do not accept broken, locked, or heavily damaged devices.
8. What condition should the device be in?
Devices must:
- Power on properly
- Be free from password/Google/iCloud locks
- Have a working screen and charging port
- Be factory reset (we can help if needed)
9. Can I donate a device from outside Bangladesh?
Yes. You can ship your device internationally. Please contact us first so we can guide you on shipping details and customs instructions.
10. Is my data safe if I donate a used device?
Yes. We recommend you factory reset your device before donating. Our team also performs a second wipe to ensure your data is fully removed.
11. Where can I drop off the device?
You can drop off the device at any Mojar School branch or designated partner locations. We’ll share the nearest one after you fill out the donation form.
12. Can someone collect the device from my home?
Yes, in Dhaka and selected nearby areas we offer free pickup service. Just fill the form and select the “Home Pickup” option.
13. Can I donate cash instead of a device?
Absolutely! Your financial support helps us buy new or refurbished devices. Donate through bKash, Nagad, or bank transfer (details on the donation page).
14. Will I get a receipt or acknowledgment?
Yes. All donors receive a digital thank-you letter or donation certificate. For larger donations, we also offer public recognition (with your consent).
15. How will my device be used?
Devices are distributed to children at Mojar School branches who lack access to digital learning. We prioritize students based on need and learning goals.
